    You should be able to turtle away using SW, ignore im and the outfit ability until you get enough shadowmen, puppets and imprisons in play to wipe out the opponent's influence.

    That said, I did get pulverised by an aggressive blackjack deck using wild dingoes.

    Phantom fingers should help counter that.
