Submission Guidelines.
Right, here's the deal. This area of my site is reserved for the best decks that there are. That's it. If your deck isn't exceptional, then post it on the Temple, or Gerry's site. Reserve here for the decks that have a proven track record, or have been made by players that have one.
Basically, I want tournament winning decks, from tournament winning players. Clear?
That way, you know that the decks you see here are the best of the best, or at least were when they were first put up.
So, what do I want? I want decks that have:
- Won a tournament of up to 8 players.
- Won or placed second in a tournament of up to 16 players.
- Top 4, or been the highest of a given faction, in a tournament of up to 32 players.
- Top 8, or been the highest of faction in a tournament of up to 64 players.
- Top 8, or highest of a given Warlord, of a tournament of more than 64 players.
Clear?
This doesn't need to be your deck, you could be the judge, or a friend of the player, that's fine. But the deck itself needs to have prooven itself.
Now, onto the form itself. It's free, provided by my free hosting service. It's not designed for deck submissions, but in order to design my own form, you would need to be using an integrated email/browser setup, such as Netscape Messenger or Outlook Express. As many people use webmail accounts for their gaming, this is more suitable, as my host sends the deck to me automatically.
So, in the Name: field, put in the name of the player who played the deck in the tournament, and their Temple Name if they have one. In the Address: field, the location of the tournament (eg. shop, city, stae/country). In Phone:, the name of the Deck (something original, for my filename). In Fax: the expansion set most recently legal for tournament play at the time. I need your Email: address. Don't worry, I won't give it out to any spammers, I get enough myself as it is. But I might need to ask you questions.
Then type the deck up, and put a brief strategy guide at the bottom. Remember to tell me where the deck placed!
The form:
The deck will then go through my quality control filtering, and then I'll put it up on the site. Don't expect it to be up instantly, and if your email address isn't valid, don't expect it up at all...
Cool, thanks for bothering!
