Note: Here is the Morghen Dythanus deck I promised for the Fuzzy Duck with commentary included. I am also working on a second Morghen deck that still uses his bare bones items (pun intended) but with the rest of the deck filled with spells that have a necro focus. I find Morghen to be the most interesting Elf Warlord (translates to most interesting Warlord period) because he lends himself to such versatility!

I have never actually gotten all three Eyes out but the extra cards for the combo insures that the primary objective of getting the Eye equipped on Morghen (and either Spiritreever or the Scepter) happens by turn two, as well as enhancing the potential to attach a second Eye. Toren Yscar is key to look ahead for Duplicate possibilities and to make use of cards involved in the combo when they cannot be used. I typically am able to attach the second eye to Cael by turn four or five, which goes well with Morghen's readiness to start reeving the front line. Most of the supporting cast of characters as well as the Contagions are there to take care of lower level troops in your opponent's army while the Lich, his pet Fiendlings, and Kether lay waist to any major threat through the stun and kill technique. The Staff of War, Ring of Vorn, and Bloodsteed allows the Lich to jump back and forth between the first and second ranks with Rathe like agility without creating illegal ranks. On an RPG note, I like the use of good characters in this deck because it lends itself to an image of the evil Lich subjugating wholesome individuals and bending them with his will to do his biding. This brings up a particularly interesting story-line plot twist regarding his relationship with the Jinn.
* I usually switch Guenevere for Artheon when playing against other Elves or Brine Fiends to provide more AC stability.
** In heavy Distrust saturated areas you can switch the Jinn for Cordeos. However, Cael is a much better card because of his DC, his ability to perpetually control a front rank (with the addition of a ring of Vorn he can cancel one strike per turn) and his extra hit point.
*** I took out the Soul Chamber because I find that it doesn't actively help this particular archetype achieve victory.
